# Quickstart

1. **Create an account** at [akkrudata.ai/signup](https://www.akkrudata.ai/signup). A free plan is available.
2. **Make a first call** in one of the three ways below. Calls are charged in credits ([Credits & Rate Limits](/documents/credits-rate-limits.md)).

## REST API

Create a key under [API keys](https://www.akkrudata.ai/dashboard/api-keys) in the dashboard, then:

## MCP

Add the server to your AI assistant and sign in. In Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http akkrudata https://api.akkrudata.ai/mcp
```

Then run `/mcp` inside Claude Code and finish sign-in in your browser. Other clients: [MCP](/documents/mcp.md).

## CLI

```bash
pipx install akkru
akkru setup
